Creating art has always been an important part of my life, and it is one that I have taught both of my children to value and explore.  I was born in Seoul, South Korea, displayed an aptitude for art at an early age. Gradually I grew into my talent, but it wasn’t until I was accepted into the Seoul Women University that I developed my own unique style and began perfecting several traditional art techniques.   Graduated and received a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts.  For fourteen years I taught oil painting, watercolor painting, and drawing at my own Fine Art Academy for college preparatory students.  I also taught art for elementary students in Seoul.  In the year 2000, I moved to the United States with my family. While living in Irvine, California I was an active member of the Orange County Fine Art Association and maintained a studio at the Orange County Fine Arts complex in the South Coast Plaza Village.  During my time residing in California, I worked in Laguna Beach with a renowned artist from educator professor Roger Armstrong in California. I live in Northern Burlington County, New Jersey.  I have since become involved in the local community including the New Jersey Watercolor Association and school activities for Korean children.  Such opportunities allowed me to organize several cultural events and art shows to date.  Currently, I teach high school students at my own private studio while I continue to produce my own pieces.

I am a master of watercolor, oil and specialized in horse and nature I rarely use the pencil to initially designing painting and I feel free, loose, and active filled paintings are developed with a natural feeling for final work. My sharp contrast values are obtained with both color and detail. My work portrays realism and spontaneous and confident approach.
