FRANCES MELVIN

Frances Melvin, of Hopewell, NJ, was born and raised in NYC. She attended LaGuardia H.S. of Music and the Arts, Hampshire College (BA, Studio Art), and School of Visual Arts (MFA) in NYC. Melvin taught art for several years, pursued a career in multi-media design, and then returned to painting meditative landscapes. “A work of art can bring stillness to a space; through meditation, I discover the art that calls to me to be revealed.
